Working Herts is an environmental and training charity. Under special arrangements with energy suppliers we can insulate your home including your loft, tanks, pipes and walls for a very reasonable price.

Loft insulation work on your house will be done by a qualified supervisor assisted by trainees, young people who are gaining practical work experience from providing the service.   

Work will be done to the highest training book standards. As part of the training, our team is happy to move things round in the loft so you needn't worry too much about the clutter up there. The recommended thickness of loft insulation is now 270mm .   We fit a free cold water tank jacket and up to 15m of high quality pipe insulation as part of the service.

Cavity wall insulation will require a free visit by our surveyor prior to booking in the team, to ensure there are no obstacles to doing the work.

Insulating your house will take 2-3 hours, with appointments at a time to suit you.
